At McPherson Matters, we believe that democracy depends on the active participation of all members of the community. That's why we facilitate conversations that bring people together to discuss the issues that matter most to them. Our Author Talks feature writers discussing topics related to democracy and civic engagement. The Listening Project is an initiative that aims to capture the issues and concerns of the electorate. We used the Kitchen Table Conversation model developed by the Victorian Womens Trust. It is designed to provide a space for small groups to come together and discuss the issues that affect them most.
